ATLANTA Boone/Oakley will launch its new advertising campaign for Nascar's Busch and Craftsman Truck series races during the broadcast of the Daytona 500 on Sunday, the shop said.

The independent Charlotte, N.C., shop has created a tv campaign for the Busch Series and a tv campaign for the Craftsman Truck Series. The Busch and Craftsman Truck series are the second and third most popular form of motorsports in the U.S.

Boone/Oakley plans to create two more broad-
cast ads for each of the two racing series. The ads
will run throughout the year on networks that
broadcast Nascar racing, including Fox, NBC, FX,
TNT and the Speed Channel.

The work includes print ads that will launch next
month in national magazines about racing and
banner ads that will begin running next month on
Web sites about racing.

The Busch Series ads feature the Busch drivers paired with the Nextel Cup drivers, explaining that many of the latter also race in the Busch Series. "We've got something to prove" is the tagline.

The Craftsman Truck Series ads emphasize the closeness of the competitions. The work shows an obsessed fan that explains the excitement of the races by appearing live in still photographs of trucks inches apart. "Tough trucks. Tough racing" is the tagline.

This is the second year that Boone/Oakley has produced ads for Busch and Craftsman Truck series races.
